I grew up living all over Iowa. From Waukee, to Panora, to Grimes, and a couple of places in between. I graduated from Dallas-Center Grimes High School in 2012 where I played football, basketball, ran track, and loved playing ultimate frisbee in the off-seasons.
After high school, I attended DMACC for a year and a half and received an Associates Degree of Liberal Arts. While I was attending college classes, I spent time volunteering in the youth ministry at a church in Waukee. It was during that time when I felt God might be calling me to ministry. During the next summer I was a part-time intern at the church, and it was during that summer I knew God was calling me to go into ministry full-time. I then attended Moody Bible Institute and graduated with a degree in Youth Ministry in the spring of 2017.
After graduating from Moody, I interned for 9 months in youth ministries at an Evangelical Free Church in Johnston. After the internship ended, God brought me to Faith Fellowship to be the youth pastor in September of 2018.
I met my wonderful wife, Hope, while attending classes at DMACC. We started dating in the summer of 2015. After many years of dating long distance, we finally got married on September 19, 2019. We have two beautiful daughters, Winnie and Olive.
I love doing anything with a frisbee and am always up for playing board games. I truly enjoy spending time with students and getting to see their lives transformed by the Gospel.
