Current Study: Nehemiah
The book of Nehemiah tells the story of God’s people returning to Jerusalem after years of exile. Nehemiah, a servant to the king of Persia, is moved with compassion when he hears the city’s walls are broken down. With God’s help and the king’s permission, Nehemiah leads the people in rebuilding the walls, restoring their faith, and renewing their commitment to God’s Word.
Nehemiah shows us the importance of prayer, leadership, teamwork, and trusting God to help us overcome challenges.
